Generative AI Rewriting and Tone
Change presentation without changing the underlying instruction.
How it works
Rewriting changes wording, tone or reading level while preserving meaning. Give the intended audience and state which facts must remain fixed. Avoid requesting a vague human tone as the only criterion: a useful rewrite is direct, understandable and accurate for its reader. A natural sentence that changes a deadline is a failed rewrite.
How to use this lesson
This is an authored prompt exercise with a human-written acceptance guide. It is not a captured provider response or a promise that a model will produce the target. No provider account, API, model weights or live inference was used for the course execution review. If you try it in an external service, use an authorised environment, check its actual access and data settings, and record the product/model and run date.
Bhylu does not run a generative model or send this prompt to an AI service. Copy and download preserve the text only. External tools may require accounts, paid access or compatible inputs; this course does not promise availability or prices.
Prompt exercise
Rewrite this instruction in friendly plain English.
"Attendees must return the kit by 16:30; late returns delay packing."
Keep the 16:30 deadline and the reason. Use at most two sentences.
Acceptance guide — not a model transcript
The target keeps the return deadline and explains the packing delay without adding a penalty.
The tone should remove unnecessary stiffness, not weaken the obligation. Compare the deadline character by character, then check that the reason has not become a claim about fines or loss of membership. Use a style example only if the audience or brand genuinely needs one.
