Angular Study Plan
Build understanding in stages: render a small view, define component contracts, validate input, own async work and then connect the application’s routes and rendering strategy.
Your brief
For each unit, read the expected result, predict a change and run the local tests before editing the working example. Write a refused input or failed request as well as a successful one. Learn signals and typed models before introducing a large state library. Learn the single-process reservation invariant before claiming it can coordinate several users. Use SSR and hydration tests to separate server HTML from later client behavior.
Run the code
Use a separate empty project folder with a compatible Node version: ^22.22.3, ^24.15.0 or a supported 26+ runtime. The review uses Node 24.22.1, Angular 22.2.4, CLI/build 22.2.5 and TypeScript 6.0.3. Node 22.15.1 is too old for Angular 22. Save every download at its displayed path; browsers may keep only the basename, so recreate the src folder. Run npm install, npm run build and npm start, then open the loopback address printed by the server. Run npm test for the supplied component tests. These are local teaching projects, not Bhylu publishing files.
The small loopback server serves the compiled app and fixed, read-only tool API fixtures. It is not a database, authentication or lending service. Angular examples do not run in Bhylu’s current HTML or TypeScript playground. No Apache, MySQL or PHP configuration change is needed.
Example
Show the worked solution
import { Component } from '@angular/core';
@Component({
selector: 'bh-study-plan',
standalone: true,
imports: [],
template: `<ol>
@for (stage of stages; track stage) {
<li>{{ stage }}</li>
}
</ol>
<p data-result>Four practice stages</p>`,
})
export class App {
stages = [
'Templates and components',
'Signals and forms',
'Services, HTTP and routes',
'Rendering and project tests',
];
}
Expected result
Four practice stages
The outline is a learning suggestion, not a saved progress tracker or a promise of professional readiness after a fixed number of days. Revisit a unit when you cannot explain why its negative fixture was refused. The project is complete enough for study only when its actual tests and environment requirements are understood.
