Bootstrap 5 Interview Questions
Compare semantic meaning, presentation, plugin behaviour and real application outcomes in ordinary language.
Your brief
A useful technical discussion starts with the task. Explain why a link differs from a button, why CSS cannot reserve a place, when a grid needs another breakpoint and what a modal’s focus policy should do. Discuss a view that needs no bundle versus a component that requires it, and explain why a validation colour does not replace server acceptance. These are design and contract questions, not a competition to remember every utility spelling.
Run and inspect
Save the complete document as index.html in a separate lab folder. Place Bootstrap 5.3.8 CSS beside it. Open the file in a normal browser. A separate local static server is optional; no database or PHP execution is required. Keep the Bootstrap licence with redistributed assets.
Download this complete HTML source.
The preview injects local Bootstrap CSS when you select Run code. It blocks external resources and actual form submission; nothing runs on import. Bootstrap plugin scripts are not loaded there.

Expected result
The summary keeps four responsibilities distinct instead of attributing every behaviour to Bootstrap.
A framework can support a design without owning its correctness. A real booking workflow also needs data validity, current capacity, failure feedback and a persistence contract. Explain these boundaries before choosing a modal, toast or disabled button as the visible result. Review both the ordinary path and the rejected or cancelled path.
Extend and test
Choose one project. Name its true user outcome, the HTML structure, CSS rule, JavaScript behaviour and one failure or accessibility check you would review.
Check Bootstrap’s official 5.3 documentation for component contracts and version details.
