AngularJS Routing
ngRoute maps a location path to a controlled view and controller. Hash-based navigation can keep the local fixture simple while still providing meaningful links and route state.
How it works
The desk has an overview and a repair queue. The page loads the pinned angular-route file and declares ngRoute as a module dependency. Its links use the configured default hash prefix. A real deployed application needs an intentional fallback, base path and unknown-route policy; a route that works only after clicking from the homepage is not a complete navigation contract.
Run the code
AngularJS 1.8.3 is a legacy framework whose official support ended in January 2022. These examples teach maintenance, not a recommendation for a new application. They need a separate local browser page; Bhylu has no AngularJS playground.
In an empty folder save the HTML below as routing.html and the server as lab-server.mjs. Make a vendor folder and save the four pinned libraries there, retaining their MIT notices. With Node 22 or later run node lab-server.mjs routing.html, then open http://127.0.0.1:8136/. Stop that lab before running a different lesson. The server supplies fixed read-only HTTP fixtures; no data is saved and it does not connect to SQL. No PHP, Apache or MySQL configuration changes are needed.

Desk overview
Following Repairs changes the route view without fetching a new outer HTML document. The fixture test verifies both screens. Route creation and destruction also affect scopes and resources; attach request and listener cleanup to the view that owns them.
