HTML Project

Bring the foundations together by building one useful event page. The goal is a coherent, accessible document, not a screenshot that only works at one window size.

How it works

  • Create a complete document with UTF-8, a viewport declaration, a descriptive title, and a page language.
  • Include one main heading, clear sections for the event details and equipment, a real list, and meaningful navigation links. Use only information you can verify.
  • Add a local image if it helps explain the event, with appropriate alt text and dimensions. Finish by reviewing keyboard use, narrow screens, and missing resources.

A practical example

HTML

<main>
  <h1>Community repair morning</h1>
  <p>A practical session for learning to look after everyday items.</p>
  <section>
    <h2>What to bring</h2>
    <ul><li>One item to inspect</li><li>A notebook</li></ul>
  </section>
  <a href="contact.html">Ask about access requirements</a>
</main>

This is a body fragment to place inside your own complete HTML document. Create the contact page too, or replace the link with an actual destination before publishing.
