Set Methods
Set methods include membership relations as well as combination operations. They help express a rule without manually looping over every element.
Understand the idea
issubset asks whether every element is in the other collection. issuperset asks the reverse question, and isdisjoint asks whether no elements overlap. The updating forms change the original set, while difference and intersection return new sets. Be explicit about which contract the caller expects.
Where to try it
Open this example with Try in playground. The code loads as editable text and does not run until you select Run. The first run downloads Python. Each run starts fresh; temporary files created by a script are not files on your PC.
A worked example
required = {"name", "email"}
supplied = {"name", "email", "city"}
print(required.issubset(supplied))
print(required.isdisjoint({"phone"}))
Read the result
Both results are True: all required keys are supplied, and none overlaps with phone.
Try one change
Add a rule that rejects unsupported keys as well as checking required keys.
